Kalasarpa Dosha creates different hurdles based on the placement positions of rahu and kethu. Based on the 12 positions, there are 12 different types of kalasarpa dosha like ananth, kulik, vasuki, shankpal, padam, mahapadam, takshak, karkotak, shankachood, ghatak, vishdhar, sheshnag.


To get out of influence of kalasarpa dosha regularly perform the santi pooja on Shahsti Thithi and chant the 108 names of Lord Nataraj and visit to temples like Sri Kalahasti, Rameshwaram in Andhra Pradesh. Daily visit the Subramanyeswara Swamy temple.

Treat the snake as a God and put some milk to snakes on "Nagula Chavithi". Do not do any harm to snakes and other reptiles and chanting the names of 9 major dynastical heads of serpents 21 times on Shahsti Thithi. It helps a lot.
