Kanakadhara Stotram -Real Story behind WEALTH MANTRA

Kanakadhara Stotram : Real Story behind this wonderful Stotram

The beautiful story of poor womens devotion -

Adi Sankaracharya was born in kaladi in 8th century when Hinduism had few problems. The Shiva worshippers , vishnu worshippers, ganesha worshippers , has misunderstandings . It is Sankaracharya who organized Hinduism and helped in its upliftment.

Once Sankaracharya was going to few houses to take bhiksha. He came across a hut and asked for bhiksha. ( food ). The women inside the house was embarrassed as a saint has come to her house for food but she is so poor that nothing was available in her house. She searched all the places and finally found an old Amla fruit (Emblic myrobalan) ( nelli kani in tamil, nelli kaya in telugu ). The poor women was feeling shy to give only this little amla fruit to Sankaya but she has immense devotion and don't want to send the saint who came to her house empty handed. She offered the amla fruit in the bowl of Lord Sankaracharya.

Birth of Kanakadhara stotram :

Sankaracharya realized the womens devotion irrespective of being poor. He immediately started singing twenty one slokas praising Goddess Mahalakshmi , praying her to bless the poor women by driving her poverty and grant her riches.

As you sow, So you reap :

Mahalakshmi replied that the lady has not done any good deeds ( helping others in charity ) in her previous birth. so she doesn't deserve riches and is destined to suffer in poverty. Adi sankaraya accepted it but said though the poor lady din't do any good deeds in previous birth, in this birth, she has such a kind heart that irrespective of being poor, she gave this little amla fruit to him and this good deed alone is enough to bless her with all prosperity.

Goddess Mahalakshmi's grace :

Listening to Sankaracharya's beautiful stotra and his arguement that the poor women must be blessed for her good deed in this birth ( offering of little amla fruit ), Mahalakshmi was moved. Friends, here comes the greatness of this Goddess. She really is for devotion and purity of heart. If we always involve in good deeds , always chanting Gods name, we will surely be blessed by Mahalakshmi.

As Sanakaracharya was singing Kanagadhara stotram, Mahalakshmi showered Golden amla fruit like rain infront of the poor womens hut. Imagine, rain of golden fruit showering from sky . How beautiful is this story friends . How beautiful is the devotion of the poor lady and how great is the saint Adi Sankaraya who sang in praise of Mahalakshmi and beyond all this How graceful is this Goddess Mahalakshmi.
Adi Sankaya has sung this "Kanakadhara stotra" for welfare of everyone who is suffering their past karma and suffering in poverty.

" Learn the art of giving heart fully". Keeping all your calculations aside.

The rest will be TAKEN CARE by the GOD.

Lord Hanuman - Armour- VAJRA KAVACHAM -Meaning

(The armour of Hanuman with five faces.)

“Sri Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami was the main deity of Sri Raghavendra Swami. The
place where he meditated on this five-faced form of Hanuman is now known as
Panchamukhi, wherein a temple for him has been built.

There is also a shrine for Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami at Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, India.
A 40 feet (12 m) tall monolithic green granite murti of Sri Panchamukha Hanuman has been installed
in Thiruvallur, also in Tamil Nadu. This place was known as Rudravanam in olden times
when many saints and seers had blessed this place with their presence. The Panchamukha
Hanuman Ashram itself was established by a saint called Venkatesa Battar.
Hanuman assumed this form to kill Mahiravana, a powerful rakshasa black-magician and
practitioner of the dark arts during the Ramayana war. Mahiravana had taken
Lord Rama and Lakshmana captive, and the only way to kill him was to extinguish five
lamps burning in different directions, all at the same instant. Hanuman assumed
His Panchamukha form and accomplished the task, thus killing the rakshasa, and
freeing Rama and Lakshmana.

This form of Hanuman is very popular, and is also known as Panchamukha Anjaneya and
Panchamukhi Anjaneya. (Anjaneya, which means "son of Anjana", is another name of
Hanuman). One of the most famous places of Pligrimage in central India is claimed to be
the Resting Place of Shiri Hanuman Ji is Chitrakoot. The Hanuman Dhara Temple is
situated on the peak of mountain where there is natural rock formation image of Shri
Hanuman inside the cave and a natural stream of water falling on the tail. It is believed
that after the coronation of Lord Ram, Hanuman requested for a permanent place to settle
in the Kingdom of Lord Ram, where his Injury of burns on his tails will be cured. Lord
ram then with his arrow spurred a stream of water on the tip of mountain and asked
hanuman to rest there and water of the stream will fall on his tail to cool down burning
sensation on his tail.

The access to the cave temple is through stairs starting from bottom of the mountain to its
top. It takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes to reach the temple. Over time the temple has
gained a new name, namely Hanuman Dhara. The most fascinating thing about the
temple is that the cave temple is located on the top of the mountain and water comes in
the stream throughout the year, although the mountain has no permanent source of water
on it like Glaciers or snow coming from the covered mountains of Himalayas.
Other places where statues of Lord Hanuman can be found are:

  1. A 67 foot Murti of Lord Hanuman Ji has been installed at Sankat Mochan Shri Hanuman
  2. Mandir, located in the Punjab town of Phillaur.
  3. A 40 foot Murti of Sri Panchamukha Hanuman has been installed at Tiruvallur,
  4. near Chennai,India.
  5. A 36 foot Murti of Sri Panchamukha Hanuman has been installed
  6. at Panchavatee,Pondicherry, called Viswaroopa Jayamangala Panchamukha SriAnjaaneyaswamy.
  7. A 32 foot Murti of Adhivyadihara Sri Bhaktha Anjaneyaswamy, Nanganallur, Chennai which is molded out of a single rock.
  8. Every Face of Sri Panchamukha Hanuman has significance —
  9. Sri Hanuman faces east. He grants purity of mind and success.
  10. The Narasimha faces south. He grants victory and fearlessness.
  11. The west facing Garuda removes black magic and poisons.
  12. The north facing Varaha, showers prosperity, wealth.
  13. The Hayagriva mukha faces the Sky. But since we cannot see it, it is usually tilted and
  14. shown above Hanuman's face. Hayagriva gives Knowledge and good children.”
  15. This Kavacham is addressed to this fierce form of Hanuman.
To tell the fact as I understood , it is not Sthothra in the normal sense of the
word. It gives large amount of Thanthric manthras aimed at protection. Some people believe that this sloka should not be recited but used to worship the five faced Hanuman. It is written at the end of the stotra
that it was taught by Rama to Sita as per her request. But the first few lines show that this is a version was taught by Garuda, where he mentions that it was created by the Lord of lords.

GANESH-KAVACHAM-MEANING-GANAPATH

A Practical Way of Requesting the Lord's Protection - The Kavacha Mantra Armor Hymns
This protection is made available through surrender to the Lord via the kavacham or armour hymns, for example, the armour hymn of Lord Sarabesvara Siva, the great protector, motivator and well wisher.

Kavacha or Kavacham = Armour. It implies protection. The Kavacha mantras are Armour Mantras or Protection Mantras that explicitly request the Lord to protect us.

While the very meaning of the word mantra is to protect, the Kavacha Mantras make it that much more explicit.

Goddess SriDevi Powerful KHADGAMALA STOTRAM

Sri Devi refers to Shakti, the Divine Mother. Khadga means Sword, Mala means Garland, Stotram means a hymn or song of praise. So the Khadgamala Stotram (hereafter, KS) is a hymn to the Divine Mother, which is said to bestow a garland of upon those who recite it. The KS takes us mentally through the Sri Chakra; i.e. the mystical geometric representation of the Supreme Goddess.

'SHAKTI' (Devi) is the Sanskrit word denoting power, or energy all Energy, whether we perceive it (from our perspective) as positive or negative. (It is the Shakta belief that there is no positive or negative energy.
Love the desire of SHAKTI and SHIVA to Unite as One is the essence of all Creation. That why the KS envisions Devi 'IN COITUS' with Her Consort. This implies that SHAKTI (Energy) is fully animated by SHIVA (Consciousness) She is, in fact, in an eternal state of creative orgasm. That is the cosmic bliss we begin to access through our sadhana (spiritual disciplines). The human sexual impulse is merely a metaphor for the Cosmic Creative Impulse that creates that all we see and do not see.

The KS is a very advanced, very powerful recitation from the Srividya school of Shaktism and yet it is totally within the reach of anyone who approaches it in a spirit of serious, sustained devotion and practice.

Raja Rajeswari Suprabhatam- Play for Pleasant Life

Raja Rajeswari Suprabhatam

The most well-known Suprabhātam work is the Veṅkaṭeśa suprabhātam recited at Tirupati to awaken Lord Veṅkaṭeśwara. A rendition of the poem by renowned carnatic vocalist M. S. Subbulakshmi is extremely popularwhich is played daily in many homes and temples of South India.

The idea of awakening the deity in the morning traces its origins to bhakti literature. Numerous poems were composed by saints on Shiva and Vishnu, the most popular being Manikkavacakar's poem on Shiva and Andal's poem on Sri Ranganatha (Vishnu). Acharyas who come from the lineage of Ramanuja, adapted this form into Sanskrit in later times. In Sanskrit, the Suprabhātakāvya finds it's first (1.23.2) in the Bālakāṇḍa of Vālmīki's Rāmāyaṇa, where Viśvāmitra calls out to Rāma to wake up.

Now you can find suprabhatam for every and every  Diety Independently.
Suprabhatam Should be played in between 3.AM TO 6.AM (any GOD or Goddess)

Temples of Annapurna Devi

The most well-known temple dedicated to Goddess Annapurna is in Varanasi, U.P., India .  Adjacent to the Sanctum of the Goddess is the Kasi Viswanath temple. The two are separated only by a few yards.  Annapurna is regarded as the queen of Varanasi alongside her husband Vishweshwar (Shiva), the King of Varanasi.

In the temple, at noon time, food offerings to the Goddess are distributed to the elderly and disabled daily. During the Autumn Navaratri food is distributed on a larger scale.

The other famous temple is situated at Horanadu in the pristine western ghats of Karnataka,a short drive from Kudremukh and Sringeri, where evening prayers are held after the devotees are fed.

TULASI -Precious Plant -Gayatri Mantra

The Tulasi Extraordinary plant and a Great Herb is venerated and is invariably grown in the courtyard of every house in INDIA. After lighting up the lamp (deepa), the Tulsi plant is supposed to be cleaned and watered while reciting the following prayer:

Tulsi Devi Stuti

Thulasi shree sakhi shubhe, papa haarini punyade,
Namasthe Naradanuthe, Namo Narayana priye.

Meaning
Oh, Holy Thulasi,
Bosom friend of Lakshmi,
Destroyer of sins,
Bestower of blessings,
Salutations to thee,
Who is praised by sage Narada,
And is the darling of Lord Narayana

Tulsi Gayatri Mantra
Om Tulsi devyai cha Vidhmahe
Vishnu priyayai cha Dheemahe
Thanno Brindah Prachodayath.

Meaning
Om, Let me meditate on the Goddess of Ocimum, Oh, Goddess who is dear to Vishnu, give me higher intellect, And let Brindha[1] illuminate my mind.

Tulasi -
Spiritual significance and Medicinal benefits
During the churning of the Ocean of milk (ksheera sagara mathana), Sri Hari came up in the form of Dhanvantari carrying the kalasha of amruta. At that time some drops of Hari’s tears of joy fell into the amrutha kalasha. Tulasi was born out of those tears of joy. Having been born out of tears of joy, she herself gives joy.

She has Lakshmi devi’s amsha in herself. That is the reason for the celebration of marriage of Tulasi with Shri Krishna on every Karthika shuddha dwadashi day. Hari likes her very much. It is believed that Hari is present wherever Tulasi is present.

There are two varieties of Tulasi plants viz. Sri Tulasi and Krishna Tulasi. Krishna Tulasi has blackish leaves. This is more suited for pooja in the brindavana. On the other hand Sri Tulasi which has green leaves is more suited for offering to Shri Hari.

Women are only entitled to water the Tulasi plants and worship them

Tulsi Mula Mantra
