Lord Hanuman Aarati-After Puja Bhajan Song

Lord Hanuman - A Great Disciple
Hanuman has intense love for his Lord Rama which can be considered from this instance. Once Hanuman was asked by Sri Rama, "How do you consider me?". Hanuman said: "Oh Lord, while I identify myself with my body, I am Thy servant. When I consider myself an individual soul, I am Thy part. But when I look upon myself as the spirit, I am one with Thee. This is my firm conviction."

Lord Hanuman is the Ideal Devotee. His Love and Affection towards Lord Rama and Seetha are unexplainable.

Hanuman Aarti completes the worship or prayers made to the God.
It is believed that aarti provides a completion to the puja .This aarti of Shri Hanuman is also known Bajrangbali Aarti.

HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA -ISKON

The  International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), a religious organization that also identifies itself as The Hare Krishna Movement™, belongs to the Gaudiya-Vaishnava sampradaya, a monotheistic tradition with Vedic, or Hindu, culture.
It is based on the Bhagavad-gita, the spiritual teachings spoken by Lord Krishna.  According to tradition, this sacred text is over 5,000 years old and documents the conversation between Lord Krishna and his close friend and disciple Arjuna.

ISKCON traces its spiritual lineage directly to the speaker of the sacred book, Lord Krishna, who is revered as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The text teaches that the goal of life is to develop love of God, or Krishna.   Love of God is realized through the practice of bhakti-yoga, the science of devotional service.

In the latter part of the 15th century, a saint named Chaitanya Mahaprabhu revitalized the bhakti-yoga tradition by introducing an expansive spiritual movement that swept India. Central to this renaissance was Chaitanya’s emphasis on the chanting of Krishna’s name.  Underlying this simple practice was a profound, rational, and intellectually comprehensive theology.  Hare Krishna devotees worship Lord Chaitanya as an incarnation of Krishna for this age, and ISKCON is a vibrant continuation of the movement Chaitanya began.

QUESTIONS

In which yuga did lord Shiva live?

*Satya-Yuga
*Treta-Yuga
*Dwapara-Yuga
*Kali-Yuga
asked by Rajesh Jason, Chennai

ANS -

Lord Shiva can be viewed in two senses. I dont know which one you are referring, so Im gonna tell both.
First of all, Hinduism teaches monotheism, the absolute Nirakara Rupa Parabrahma being classified into different forms or avatars like waves in the ocean. Lord Shiva is one of it.  Therefore, he can supposed to be a personification of a form of energy required for act of destruction, scientifically speaking. Lord Shiva is then part of the absolute, you cannot tell which yuga he lived because he is always living. It's like asking in which year did kinetic energy exist?.
If you are asking in the context of Puranas, then, Lord Shiva didnt die to be said 'lived'. Unlike Gods such as Sri Ram, Krishna etc who are avatars or human forms of God, some superior Gods such as BrahmaDev, Vishnu and Shiva live forever until the cycle of life ends and they get reborn. I will give you his time span. Lord Shiva lives upto 400 BrahmaDev Years. And how long is 1 year of Brahma, u may ask...
4,320,000,000 human years = 1 Chatur Yuga of Devas
1000 Chatur Yugas = 1 Maha Yuga
1 Maha Yuga is also collection of the four Yugas - Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga and Kali Yuga.
1 Maha Yuga = 1 day(excluding night) of Brahma
In 1 day(1 Maha Yuga) of Brahma, he does the divine job of creation with the help of 14 Manus one by one. By this calculation, in the present, 6 Manus have done their job. Right now, the seventh Manu called Vaivaswadan is helping Brahma for creation. Everything that Brahma created a day will be destroyed at the time of dusk.
Brahma has a life span of 100 years. Once he dies, a new Brahma will be born. It is said that millions of Brahma has already born and died earlier.
It is also said that 14 Indras will born and die one by one in each Brahma’s life.
Currently, we are all in the 1st day of the 51styear of Brahma and 6 Manus have done their job.

So, Shiva is actually above the yugas. Yugas are timescale of our world and Lord Shiva is beyond that.

Lord Krishna - Hare Krishna Maha Mantra

Hare Krishna Mantra is considered as the mahamantra (Ultimate prayer) of Kaliyuga (The Dark Age). Kaliyuga refers to the present era of machine, where truth and morality are at their lowest level. It is believed that by repeating this mantra with faith and devotion, one can achieve salvation and peace of mind.
Hare Rama Hare Krishna Mantra is as follows:

"Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare"

Meaning: Krishna takes away all grief, troubles and weaknesses. May god bless us with all the happiness.

Both, Lord Rama and Lord Krishna are the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, the preserver. Vishnu is the supreme reality and both of his incarnations are ultimate. They have attained the de-facto status. Chanting of these names, in itself, is considered auspicious. These names of God and the Hare Krishna Mantra are derived from ancient Indian texts of knowledge called Vedas.

Goddess of Wealth SriLakhshmi Printable Wallpapers

 goddess
Lakshmi is commonly known as Goddess of wealth.  Wealth is not only the money.  Tradition and values of life is also wealth.  Our family and progress is also wealth.  Our belongings such as land, properties, animals, grains, etc as well as virtues like patience, persistence, purity etc in the form of a character are nothing but our wealth and so also glory or victory.  Thus this eightfold  Sri  Lakshmi is known as Sri Ashta Lakshmi.

Mother Lakshmi is the source and provider of the following enumerated well-known sixteen types of wealth and many more.  (1) Fame (2) Knowledge (3) Courage and Strength (4) Victory (5) Good Children (6) Valour (7) Gold and other gross properties (8) Grains in abundance (9) Happiness (10) Bliss (11) Intelligence (12) Beauty (13) Higher Aim, High Thinking and Higher Meditation too (14) Morality and Ethics (15) Good Health (16) Long Life.  Let us glance upon the glory of mother Ashta Lakshmi’s individual nature and forms.
  1. Adi Lakshmi:  Mother Lakshmi resides with Lord Narayana in the Vaikuntha, the abode of Lord Narayana.  She is known as Ramaa, means bringing happiness to the mankind.  She is also known as Indira (who holds lotus or purity in the hands or heart.)  Divine Mother’s this form is normally seen serving Sri Narayana.  Lord Narayana is omnipresent.  Adi Lakshmi or Ramaa  Lakshmi serves Sri Narayana is symbolic of her serving the whole creation.  Though Sri Narayana is attended by innumerable devotees, still she personally loves to serve the Lord.  Actually mother Adi Lakshmi and Narayana are not two different entities but one only.  Many a place we see her form sitting in the lap of Sri Narayana.
  2. Dhanya Lakshmi:  Dhanya means grains.  This includes all kind of purified food containing all essential vitamins, minerals, protein, calcium, carbohytrade and so on.  With the grace of mother Dhanya Lakshmi one gets all essential nutrients grains,  fruits, vegetables and other foods.
  3. Dhairya Lakshmi:  This form of mother Lakshmi grants the boon of infinite courage and strength.  Those, who are in tune with infinite inner power, are always bound to have victory. Those who worship mother Dhairya Lakshmi they live and lead a life with tremendous patience and inner stability.
  4. Gaja Lakshmi:  In the holy book of Srimad Bhagavata the story of the churning of the ocean by Gods and demons is explained in detail.  Author, the Sage Vyasa writes that Lakshmi came out of the ocean during the churning of the ocean (Samudra Manthan).  So she is known as a daughter of the ocean. She came out of the ocean sitting on a full-bloomed lotus and also having lotus flowers in both hands with two elephants by her sides, holding a beautiful vessels filled with milk and pouring it over Sri Lakshmi.  Many a time we see Sri Lakshmi standing in the lotus and elephants are pouring nectar over her. During the festival of the lamps or the Deepavali along with Sri Lakshmi the Ganapati or the Elephant God also gets worshipped; that signifies the protection from evils as well as abundant grace and blessings for additional prosperities!
  5. Santan Lakshmi:  In the family life, the children are the greatest treasure. Those who worship this particular form of Sri Lakshmi, known as a Santan Lakshmi, are bestowed with the grace of mother Lakshmi and have wealth in the form of desirable children with good health & long life.
  6. Vijay Lakshmi:  Vijay is victory.  Vijay is to get success in all undertakings and all different facets of life. Some are strong physically but weak mentally while others are economically rich but poor in their attitude and cannot exert any influence. Vijay is to have all encompassing victory. Vijay is to rejoice glory of our real nature – Vijay is to conquer the lower nature. Vijay is the victory in external and internal wars and of course eternal wars! Hence those, with grace of mother Vijay Lakshmi, have victory everywhere, at all time, in all conditions. Victory to Vijay Lakshmi !!
  7. Dhana Lakshmi:  Dhana is wealth.  But as per Rigved’s Purush Shukta Dhana is not only a wealth in coins and currency.  Even Sun and moon, fire and stars, rains and nature, oceans and mountains, rivers and streams, all these are our wealth, so are the progeny, our inner will power, our character and our virtues. With the grace of mother Dhana Lakshmi we will get all these in abundance.
  8. Vidya Lakshmi: Vidya is education. Education is not mere studies to receive the degrees and diplomas certificates from the educational institutes or universities. Rev. Sri Gurudev Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj says:
Serenity, Regularity, Absence of Vanity, Sincerity, Simplicity, Veracity, Equanimity, Fixity, Non-irritability, Adaptability Humility, Tenacity, Integrity, Nobility, Magnanimity, Charity, Generosity and Purity are the eighteen “itis” that only can give immortality.

Lord Buddha Peaceful Wallpapers of China

As the birthplace of the Lord Buddha - the apostle of peace and the light of Asia was born in 623 BC - the sacred area of Lumbini is one of the holiest places of one of the world's great religions, and its remains contain important evidence about the nature of Buddhist pilgrimage centres from a very early period. Lumbini, in the South-Western Terai of Nepal, evokes a kind of holy sentiment to the millions of Buddhists all over the world, like Jerusalem to Christians and Mecca to Muslims.

Lumbini is the place where the Buddha, known as the Tathagata, was born. It is the place which should be visited and seen by a person of devotion and which should cause awareness and apprehension of the nature of impermanence. The site and its surrounding area is endowed with a rich natural setting of domesticable fauna and favourable agricultural environ. Historically, the region is an exquisite treasure-trove of ancient ruins and antiquities, dating back to the pre-Christian era. The site, described as a beautiful garden in the Buddha's time, still retains its legendary charm and beauty.

Lord Satyanarayana swamy is another form of Lord Vishnu who is commonly worshipped by Hindus in their homes along with family and friends. The worship is performed usually on a full moon (purnima) day of the month. People worship by reciting the gracious story of the Lord which was once told by Lord Vishnu himself to the sage Narada for the benefit of humankind. The Lord's grace is described in a Hindu mythological book called Skanda Purana. 49 Powerful Mantras For Daily Life -Download

Mantras are powerful sounds. Mantras are the ones that have when chanted produce great effects. These are chanted repeatedly and that is called Japa. Japa is a key part of Hindu prayer.

Mantras are very rich in their meaning. While doing japa one can meditate on the mantra and its meaning. As the mind dwell more and more into that, the mantra conditions the mind and takes up to the higher states and forms the path to the great liberation - eternal bliss !

What makes mantras so special as compared to the normal words ? Mantras are not human composed. One may wonder how can that be possible. Especially given that there are sages associated with the mantras ! The point to be noted is that these sages are not composers of these mantras, as we normaly compose the sentences; they are not the inventors, but they are the discoverers of the mantra. They get to know the mantras in a state in which these words do not emanate from their thoughts, but they are just passive audience to it. Those who go deep in meditation and realize God may be able to get a feel of this situation.

To be such a discoverer, even though they are just passive hearers, needs great amount of qualification. Only the perfect one can unchangeably reproduce the mantra heard. The only one that is absolutely perfect is God. All other discoverers reproduce that mantra only as pure as their closeness to perfection.

(It is really amazing to note that without being written down the vedas have been preserved in pure form across the land by these techniques. Though the texts are freely available now for anybody to read, it would be important to ensure that these mantras are properly learnt and then chanted. This way the treasure that as been preserved so carefully over multiple milleniums do not deteriorate due to indifference.)

It is to be noted that many of the hymns of thirumuRai are known to have great powers of mantras that are practiced even today.

While there are plenty of mantras available, there are a few that are chanted with high esteem by the shaivas. Definitely those are highly powerful ones that can lead the chanter on the great path to mukti (liberation). praNava, paNJchAkashra, gAyatri to name a few. For shaivites the Holy Five Syllables (paNJchAkshara) with or without combined with the praNava is the ultimate mantra.

A Small Story about Great Hanuman

Lord Hanuman A brief story about the Mighty God

Lord Hanuman who is a Varana, one of the Deity in Hinduism and also worshipped as most acceptable God of this Kaliyug period also . He is a desciple, a follower and a devotee of Lord Sri rama who aided in rescuing Sita from Ravana. Hanuman was born to Anjana (a vanara) in Threta Yug and also refered him as incarnation of Lord Shiva. He is renowed for his bravery, courage, selflessness, devotion and loyalty. There are different stories in Ramayana, other puranas regarding the birth of Sri Hanumanji. According to them, Anjana praised to shiva and worshiped him to be his son, another story states that Anjana worshipped and got the divine child from wind-god (Vayu). Hanuman is refered Anjaneya (Anjana’s son), Vay-putra (son of Vayu). Hanuman in his childhood is a mischievous, strong, courageous and an easy-learner.

Hanuman Childhood and Education:

One day Hanuman assuming sun as a ripe-fruit catched to eat, Indra saw this and hurted hanuman with his
weapon(Vajrayudha), but later with Vayu’s requested hanuman Indra withdraw his effect and blessed him
with multiple boons. Later Hanuman enlarged his body and requested Surya to accept him as a student, please by this Surya teached him all vedas and sakala(all) Sasthras and Vidhyas. Surya asked to help Surgriva(his spiritual son) as Guru-Dakshina, and became as one of the surgriva Sayna.

Bondness with Sri Rama :

Hanuman meets Lord Rama at Sugriva parvatha and also helps in finding Sita. In search of Sita hanuman
recollects his own powers, enlarges his body and flies across the ocean and reaches lanka, conveys the
message of rama to sita, which is beautifully described in “Sundara Kanda” a part in Ramayana which
teaches the adventures of hanuman. Later hanuman also helps rama in the battle with ravana when brother
lakshmana badly wounded as a rescue , he brings the whole Sanjivana Paravatha and becomes the dear and
 beloved one to rama.

Names of Hanumanji :

Hanumanji holds a mace(ghada) in his hand as sign of bravery and as a sign of his devotion he holds picture
of sri rama and sita in his chest as the Pinnacle of devotion (bhakthi) . His names includes Maha-veera,
Maruthi, Hanumantha, Anjaneya, Vayu-putra, Pavana Sutha,Pavana kumar, Bhagaranga Bali, Kesari
Nandana, Anajna Putra, Sankata-Mochana (destroyer of hurdles and sorrows) . Hanuman is one of
Chiranjeeva’s of aHinduism which Sitaji blessed him and listen topeople chanting Lord Rama’s name. So in
Ramayana it is said that ;

“Yatra Yatra Raghunath Kirtanam
Tatra Tatra Krita Mastaka Anjalim
Bashpawari Pari purna lochanam
Marutim Nammascha Pakshas Antakam"

which means wherever rama’s name chanting there will be hanumanji into crying tears with joy and remove all the sorrows and demons.
