Rahukaalam also called as rahukaal in Hindi, rahukalam, rahu kal, rahu kalam is the time in day which is called the time of Rahu. Rahukaal varies with day or date and the place.

That means rahu kaal keeps changing for different days and is also different for different places(difference is due to the change in standard time).

Any holy , auspicious or good work should never be started during the rahukaal. Rahukaal lasts for nearly one and half or not more than 2 hours.

As per Indian mythology and vedic shastras it is recommened to avoid doing good things in this time span. Note: Rahukaal is not dangerous, its a myth. But the fact is, the work you started in Rahukaalam duration will be delayed or get bored of that work..
